Effort Award
• Recognizes students who show outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment or intellectual
development in their academic subjects, but do not meet the criteria for academic honors
• Given at teacher’s discretion
based on the following criteria:
o 3 or 4 in effort and personal & social growth
o No failures in major subjects on
