Pizza and Hot Dog Days– As the end of the year approaches, we would like to thank Kate Adamo and Michelle McAndrews for coordinating the pizza and hot days this year. Also, thank you to the volunteers that donate their time and help them every week.

Home & School Meeting— Our raffle winners were announced at the last Home & School
Meeting on May 6th. Congratulations to the Czyzewski family for winning the $1,000 tuition raffle and the Arnold, Moriarty and Scally families for winning the $500 tuition raffles. More than 60 families attended the Home and School meetings this year.

IHM Night at the Phantoms—This event was very successful. More than 200 people from IHM attended the game on Friday, March 20th. Congratulations to Ricky Amorim in Room 13 for winning the autographed hockey stick.

Hot Lunch Program—Unfortunately, the Hot Lunch Program will not begin next school year. Less than one third of the families completed the survey. We will make every effort to add more lunch days during the next school year. Any new lunch ideas are always welcomed, please contact one of the board members or Mrs. Szypula. Thank you!

Mother and Son Dance — Thanks to all who attended the 2nd Annual Mother Son Dance. Special thanks to all of the volunteers who always are there to help the H&S Association when an event is held. We could not do what we do without your help. Special thanks goes to the

Isackman, McDermott, Quigley and Wilson families and Craig Konowal for the wonderful

Catholic Standard and Times— The H&S Association placed a graduation ad in the Elementary School Graduation edition dated 5/21/09. Kimberly Szula, Principal Weiss, 8th Grade K

Based on the fundraising throughout the year (i.e. pizza day, hot dog day, Christmas bazaar, Nickel party, bingo, Magazine drive, Market day, Candy sale, etc), the Home & School is proud to announce that we will be purchasing Whiteboards for all classrooms. Also, during the school year, we helped fund various school related items, such as new gym equipment, assist in
upgrading school server, teacher picnic table, art supplies, subsidize writer’s workshop and assist various school trips and projects. Thank you for all your help and support to make all this happen. And a special thanks to all the volunteers who coordinate and assist with the fundraising events. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.
